Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013!!

It’s hard to believe that 2012 is done and another wedding season under my belt. Finishing up my 4th wedding season makes me think back to all of my amazing wedding, family, baby, high school senior and other clients who have made the last 4 years just simply amazing. I have made so many awesome friendships and have meet so many people who have touched my life in so many ways that I wouldn’t change my decision 4 years ago to follow a crazy path and become a photographer. 2012 was a great year with many up and downs personally and professionally and I’m ready for it to be over and for the fun of another year, more great friendships forged and more gorgeous weddings in 2013.

I had a blast traveling around Michigan from Saugatuck, Grand Rapids, Pentwater, Traverse City, to Petoskey and even out to New Jersey for weddings in 2012.  I know that 2013 is going to bring me to even prettier and equally fabulous locations. So thank you to all of my 2012 clients for your patience, trust, gorgeousness, friendships, laughs, and for asking me to capture this amazing day of your lives. I am looking forward to rocking it out even better in 2013.

Rachel + Thomas Wedding | City Scape Kalamzoo Wedding Photographer |

The leaves are almost all down and the temperature is getting colder every day. So you know what that means, time to catch up on the blog!

And why not start with the gorgeous later summer wedding of Rachel and Thomas.  These two MSU lovebirds seem to be just perfect for each other. Both are super sweet, totally smitten for the other and ridiculously smart. Their ceremony was at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish and the wine flowed at their reception at the unique Cityscape. I just love the exposed brick and high ceilings there, it fits so many different styles. We had so much fun taking pictures around downtown Kalamazoo and amazing sunset pictures at Asylum Park. There are so many great pictures from their day that I had a hard time keeping it down to just these. So I hope you enjoy!
