This picture pretty much sums up the whole day. The love that they have for each other is something to be envied.
Congratulations Rachel & Mike!! xoxoxo
Everyone says that things happen for a reason, and for a long time I didn't believe it until last year. I was interviewing for new jobs, but I wasn't having any luck. I always dreamed of becoming a photographer, but I was doubtful of my ability. Through encouragement of my family and friends I decided there was no better time to follow my dream. So I took the plunge and in the fall of 2008 launched Genevieve McKeiver Photography. I have a passion for what I do and am excited for the things that are to come.

Neither rain or a late party bus could stop the amazing wedding of Emily and DJ. Here is a quick little peak from their Kalamazoo wedding from today! Congratulations guys!!
I just wanted to share a few pictures from Noah’s senior session. Noah will be a senior at Rockford High School and just enlisted in the marines the other week!! He was very adventurous and was willing to sit on a broke down truck that was in some random backyard, which made for an awesome picture (see below)! Thank you Noah (and mom Michelle) for being so great! Good luck with you senior year and congratulations on becoming a Marine!
We have been blessed with some gorgeous weather this year and the day of Robyn and Mike’s wedding was no exception. The sun was shinning, the skies were beautiful and the bride looked gorgeous! I have been looking forward to their wedding ever since we shot their engagement session this spring inside the Grand Rapids public library. Their wedding was intimate and romantic and perfectly planned at the beautiful Amway Grand Plaza. I was even more excited to see her amazing flowers designed by the very talented Modern Day Floral, very simple yet sophisticated just like Robyn. Congratulations Robyn and Mike, I wish you many years of happiness! And thank you to the talented Haylee Dixon for helping me out!
When Alicia contacted me about doing a family session, I was very excited to meet their little boys and to see Chris and Alicia again (we went to the same high school)! So meet their adorable little boys, Peter and Sam. They are active little guys that never stop moving, really they don’t stop for longer than 15 seconds!! Every time you think you have them sitting still, Sam makes a dash for it. Man those little legs sure are fast! I had a great time chasing them around downtown and catching up with Alicia and Chris. Thank you for asking me to photograph your beautiful family!
